In the Men’s Bible Study we have embarked on a Journey to study the book of Jude for the next few weeks. One member describes the book of Jude as one you read through just to get to Revelation. In preparing for our study I have found Jude to be one cool book. Although short in verses, the book is filled with spiritual gold to mine, and to be applied.

Be merciful to those who doubt; save others by snatching them from the fire; show mercy, mixed with fear- hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh. Jude 1:22-23

The phrase “Save others by snatching them from the fire” inspires me to get out and share Jesus with others. One thing that goes with that inspiration is another lesson from Jude in the same passages which I feel is important, is to show mercy. It is so easy to give up on someone who doesn’t want to listen to you or follow Jesus right away. I want to be a person who never gives up on potential Christians. I want to be the Christian who is there for them when they are ready. How about you?

We should pray to be the ambassadors of the Gospel of Jesus Christ we should be.
