There is a popular meme being shared on social media in response to the worldwide pandemic that goes something like this:

“We are not all in the same boat, but we are all in the same storm”

This storm has brought much change to our American lifestyle.

People are experiencing significant changes in their daily habits.

Many have been forced to reconsider their core values.

The change that this pandemic has forced on us is causing many to long for more stability in their life.

One way we can have stability through life changes is found in James 1:5.

“If you need wisdom, if you want to know what God wants you to do, ask him and he’ll gladly tell you. He will not resent your asking.”

The key idea is that we need to ASK GOD FOR DIRECTION.

So today as you think about how the storm we are all in is affecting you, take some time to  ask God what He wants YOU to do in this season of life.
